SWOT Target Response: Independent Research Response - Peacock Part 2

Following my initial experiment I wanted to delve further into creating a design inspired by the glass concepts of @catface.exe who I referenced in my earlier post and @missrainartwork. I love the fluid motions their cute designs incorporate which help to enhance the overall viewer interest.

I am much happier with how my second attempt played out although I struggled with choosing a background colour which worked well alongside the busy colour palette. I was happy with the chosen colour when displayed on Instagram or my phone however the colour appears slightly darker here which I am not certain about. I may go back and play with this element again in the future.

For my first attempt at creating a 'glass' creature I feel I have done very well, I have managed to effectively capture the perception of lighting and shadows even within a liquid state and I love how it is clear to the viewer that there is a thick glass rim around the entire design. I think my character is really cute and I would love to continue with this style in the future.
