Research and Analysis: Hi Fructose Magazine Research - Attaboy

I bought the newest version of the Hi Fructose magazine to help me with research and inspiration into a variety of amazing and talented artists. One artist in particular which seemed to resonate with me was Attaboy, which isn't surprising considering he is also a co-founder of Hi Fructose!

I absolutely adore their use of bold and fluid linework in combination with contrasting colour palettes which result in beautiful eye catching pieces of work.

Their art style also reminds me of another artist I like called @alexandra.rubio.art it would appear this combination of vibrancy and bold fluid linework is something that consistently catches my eye.

Attaboy's work is highly inspired by the life cycle of decomposition into rebirth which is depicted through their combination of elements for example, skulls with beautiful blossoming plants and fungi growing from them. I really love this concept of combining elements of death with the beauty of rebirth as I feel it sheds new light onto a topic which is often feared by most.
