SMART Target: Narrative and Sequential Imagery - Environment 1 Version 1

Considering I have decided to create my environments using completely traditional methods in order to challenge myself, I thought the most effective process would be to paint out my environments first in my sketchbook and then complete a critical analysis of my final painting in order to see which elements I like and which I feel need improving.

This will enable me to obtain a full mock up of my environment prior to committing it to my wooden boards which, as I will be unable to make any drastic alterations to my final environments once I begin.

I have completed the first mock up for my first environment and have formed my critical analysis to give me a clear plan of what I need to work on next before starting my next full environment painting.

One of the targets I have set myself is to recreate one of my digital illustrations into traditional mediums in order to see how I can use various brush techniques to influence my designs without having to focus primarily on composition as I am already happy with the composition of my digital version. Which will enable me to place much more focus on my brush refinement and colour choices.
